Professional Experience
My career path has afforded me opportunities to work with several non-profit organizations as their executive director - over 30 years' experience. My company currently manages six legal organizations; some statewide, some local.
Political Experience
Eleven years serving in some capacity with the township.
I have served the township for over eleven years.
Zoning Board of Appeals - 2005,
Planning Commission - 2005 - Chair, 2014-15,
Board of Review - 2007-2012,
and I was recently appointed as a trustee to fill a vacancy.
Improvements do not always have to equate to raising taxes. Looking at the full budget with options to re-priorities is part of the process. The residents also need a voice through a ballot. If that is what the residents want, I will support the tax.
Local government gives the property owners a voice.
Change is constant. If I were elected to serve, I am sure I will become more aware of potential changes.
Continued fiscal responsibility, safety, and protecting the voice of the property owner

No, I wonder why we don't use the toll road system like Indiana, that way the people who use the roads pay for them.
Yes, I feel that local government is the only government that is readily accessible to people. It is a place they can talk directly to someone and seek answers quickly.
They can attend local meetings and talk directly to their Representatives and get help with zoning, building and election matters.
I would like to see government made easier for people to contact and get information from. Hopefully they can reach an actual person to assist them more often and feel that there is someone who really cares and wants to help with their problem.
1. Maintenance of Roads: Plan for and save funds to repair and maintain existing roads and build and pave gravel roads that carry heavy loads of traffic.
2. Fire and Police Protection: Make more State Grant Funds available to assist local governments with the purchase of Fire and Police Equipment and Facilities.
3. Water and Sanitary Sewer Service: Stop Cities from requiring annexation for service in Townships. Fair contracts for service with joint cooperation on both sides.
No, as I said before, Local Government is more readily available to Township Residents and I believe we need to preserve Township Government so people have government they can reach quickly, a place where they can drop into the local office just to see what is going on or pick up an absentee ballot or get help with a building permit or tax question.

I think Township Salaries have grown a little high and I do not believe that Townships need to provide a pension plan. Most of the smaller Township Officials have or have had a full time job prior to being elected and have a pension there. I believe most Township Officials want to be of service to their Township and care about where they live, they do not start Township Jobs due to the large pay check, it is more of a way to give back.
My taxes are all current and I never have had any child support or alimony obligations.
