I have the combination of advanced educational degrees and 40+ years professional work experience. I have successfully dealt with budgets and personnel concerns since 1980. I have represented District 1 as a commissioner since 2006, attended every meeting and taking every vote. I participate in township and village meetings as well as local public and events.
No. The current budget is appropriate for our park system. Eaton County will approach other agencies for grants and individual donors to enhance our parks.
The quality of our roads is an ongoing concern. They are improving. The county is utilizing the Road Millage effectively.
No. Additional taxes will not be levied.
Yes. The mission of Eaton County government is to determine, assess, satisfy and provide necessary resources and services to our citizens.
No. All of the municipalities are working together cohesively to service our communities. This has been ongoing since the inception of Eaton County government.
We need to integrate State services with Local services more efficiently. Example; The State should coordinate and work with the County's to jointly and more cost effectively improve our roads.

The county has survived through the Great Recession without laying off any full time employees. All of our jobs are important. If the jobs were expendable, we would not have them.
Yes I am current in all my taxes. I have never needed to pay alimony nor child support as my wife and I are approaching our 22nd year of marriage.
