Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Northwood Institute. Associate Degrees in Law Enforcement and Fire Science from Lansing Community College.

Professional Experience Owner of Walter Curtis Company, LLC, since 1986, City of DeWitt Police Officer from 1986 to present and City of DeWitt Firefighter from 2000 to 2013

I will let the voters decide who is their choice, but I believe my past 30 years experience in DeWitt has given me an unique knowledge of the people, the problems, and what makes DeWitt so special.
No. I do not support raising DeWitt taxes for city improvements currently. I will carefully review all proposals in the future and always consider what is best for DeWitt.
Yes, The City of DeWitt functions generally well now, but I will always be looking to improve the life of the residents.
No substantial changes at this time. We need to put the needs of DeWitt residents first.
Maintain public safety by community policing, officer involvement in our schools, selected foot and bicycle patrols, while using tax dollars very carefully and efficiently. Allowing reasonable growth in DeWitt without compromising quality of life. Encouraging each resident in DeWitt by communication and respect for all opinions and anything brought before the city council.
I support city, county and regional changes if the changes are shown to save tax dollars and provide the same or better services, as long as local control continues.
